Family hotel in Pattaya
In the weekend we love to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city Bangkok. Don’t get me wrong I love Bangkok’s 24hr craziness, but I love to escape it too. Looking for the best of both worlds I guess.
Often we go to Pattaya as it is only 1,5-hour away. Fresh air but still plenty of craziness haha. A lot of people ask me if Pattaya is ok for families too? Where should we stay? Is there a family hotel in Pattaya? Actually, there is! I got invited by The Bayview hotel Pattaya to watch the yearly International Fireworks show and staying there I realized that this is the hotel families are looking for!
Do you want to know what else you can do in Pattaya? Check out my other blog post “what to see in Pattaya”.
Arriving at The Bayview Pattaya
When we arrived at the hotel I spotted this beautiful wooden bench. It looked so cute with the piggies in front, I had to use it for a little photo shoot!
The design of the hotel is amazing. You can find a lot of art and antiques.
Exploring our room
We stayed in the “deluxe sea view room”. The room had the most perfect view of the sea. This was awesome, especially because we were there for the firework festival. We could watch it straight from our balcony and couldn’t be happier.
It was also our anniversary and the staff of the hotel brought us chocolate cake and a delicious and healthy cocktail. So sweet!

Kids facilities – Sukee Wonderland
The Bayview offers a lot of fun activities for kids. The family hotel in Pattaya offers children’s yoga, board games, fun times at the pool and you can watch cartoon movies together.
There is Sukee Wonderland, exclusively for children. The kids can do free and priced activities like enjoy Baan Sukee, Sukee’s Lagoon and Sukee’s Watchtower. A lot of fun stuff to do in this family hotel in Pattaya!
By now you are probably curious who this Sukee is. Sukee is the mascot for all the Sukosol hotels. It is a little elephant, only 5 years old and made up by the grandchildren of the hotel owner – Khun Kamala Sukosol.
Of course, there is plenty to do for adults as well. There is another bigger pool with a jacuzzi. The second pool it pretty deep, so not suitable for kids. Also, there is a tennis court to play on.
The Bayview Pattaya serves a buffet style breakfast. You can get Asian dishes and all kinds of bread and pastries. There is also
